Stormtrooper TE helmet
Stormtrooper TE helmet
Finally took some pics to share.
This is the last helmet TE has produced with his only set of mould left in his pocession. If you could tell this is the "set for stunt" look which is different from the other earlier TEs. The helmet arrived in a badly squashed box hence distorted made worst because it is pulled in HDPE, yes the actual flimsy wobbly paper-thin plastic used in movie. I tried to rescue it by laying plastic filler inside to stabblelise the shape and to give it strength. Many times I thought I almost give up on it but looking at the final result now I think is worth the trouble and I'm beginning to appreciate this bucket the more I look at it. You can tell the pull is so sharp the 5th tooth is still visible and I'm very tempted to cut another hole in it. The lumpy tecture was bit dissapointing first now I'm liking it. I've used Pylon for the white and Humbro grey and Tamiya black.
I'm holding back the next step of adding the weathering to finish the transformation to a sandie because I just couldnt part with the pristine clean look now. Likely it will be kept clean for display and I have to quickly hunt for another sandie lid for trooping.
Thanks for looking.

Bro, yeah have been out of action for a while. Yippee for more clones soon!.yen wrote:Hey bro nice to see you here! Would be even nicer to see you around the next event. You notice some of us started cloning around recently. Guess you are lonely no longer no?Jedi_slayer wrote:Great work on the bucket, Yen! Really make me want to join the iconic character. Drool!
Got a scaled MR Stormie and mini E-11 from my HK trip to stop my itch to get a stormie armor. ....
Side track a bit, ... the lady boss tempted me .. with a piece of 1:1 MR E-11 blaster for HK $1800 + (about SGD350?) and pre-order of MR Stormie bucket around SGD500+ range. (about 200 cheaper than ST?). Almost drawn into her dark forces but able to resist with the subsitutes.
Sorry Bro for hijacking your thread.. Back to your helmet.
But then your bucket is priceless for something that you have assembled out of your own hands.
Star wars is a used Universe!
Not really... once you are there you can tell which building there are toys and which there are something else... I don't remember the name of the building... but that area are toys paradise...
