This is the last helmet TE has produced with his only set of mould left in his pocession. If you could tell this is the "set for stunt" look which is different from the other earlier TEs. The helmet arrived in a badly squashed box hence distorted made worst because it is pulled in HDPE, yes the actual flimsy wobbly paper-thin plastic used in movie. I tried to rescue it by laying plastic filler inside to stabblelise the shape and to give it strength. Many times I thought I almost give up on it but looking at the final result now I think is worth the trouble and I'm beginning to appreciate this bucket the more I look at it. You can tell the pull is so sharp the 5th tooth is still visible and I'm very tempted to cut another hole in it. The lumpy tecture was bit dissapointing first now I'm liking it. I've used Pylon for the white and Humbro grey and Tamiya black.
I'm holding back the next step of adding the weathering to finish the transformation to a sandie because I just couldnt part with the pristine clean look now. Likely it will be kept clean for display and I have to quickly hunt for another sandie lid for trooping.
Thanks for looking.
