EP2 Clone Pilot Bucket
EP2 Clone Pilot Bucket
So as not to highjack my bro's Commander Bly thread, here is the clone pilot build up. This is probably going to take a couple of months so don't expect finished pictures anytime soon. Bucket is made of fiberglass and comes with hose, chestbox etc.
The raw form straight out of the box.
# 11 of 12 pcs and signed by the prop maker, SGB.
After drilling out the visor, mouth frown, and numerous puuty fills. and then sanding it all down with reducing sandpaper grit. The primer I used is red in colour. Don't ask why, I just could not find grey. There are a lot of imperfections in this buckets and even with years of modelling skills, this is a bugger to work with.
Hopefully by this weekend, I'll be able to lay the first bast coat.
Seesh, running multiple projects at the same time is a sure way to keep you awake at night. The other project is a hyperfirm concept carbine for my biker scout. I tore the rubber when I was drilling too deep for the nozzle. I'll start a seperate thread if I get pictures going.

Paul,
For the grey primer, you can try the hardware store in Ubi [for the life of me, I can't recall the name...] or the Handyman Centre at Shaw. Ask Philip to help you out, he has a ton of grey primer in stock.
As for multiple projects, I feel for you bro, I know what it's like. I myself am running 4 projects concurrently...wait 5, with the addition of Ivan's. Can anyone say clone me??? LOL!
Stay safe,
Tim.
P.S. BTW, nice work so far...keep em coming.
