Don, was thrilled to see your clone helmet in real. Are all the clones this heavy? Paul showed me pic of his clone pilot helmet still in the raw state. To me its a damn handsome helmet of all clones. Check it out!

This is what Yen is referring to:

This bucket is light and it is Fiberglass. Don's Bly is heavy BUT darn solid. I should stop highjacking Don's thread and start a new one as I build along.

yen not all clone bucket are heavy, i did a lot reinforcement on the helmet probably that add weight to it but this is a resin cast and not a fiberglass. Be frank not sure if i can have the same skill doing this helmet again, really sucks up alot of time - average 8 weeks to complete the putty and paintwork....trying to see if i can find a baccara helmet to do

Ya Don without a doubt its rock solid. If not for trooping, the added weight does leave an impression witht the audience on top of its very convincing seasoned paintwork. Hope to see your other pocessions in future events.

Paul much better pics here thanks! It will be one hellof a bucket when its finished. Ya can't wait to see some progress report if you could spare the time!

Hope one of you tackle the Commander Cody next! Hehe...

Thanks for the kind words! His little boba idea sprung up while Tim was documenting his costume progress. Seems like a trend now we have a few Fetts! You should let us know how's your little stormie too if you have time.

My helmet...er not really my masterpiece but really its the works of the master maker himself. The flu bug ruined my weekend so i will post the pics tomorrow. Watch for it!

Those are some mighty fine looking helmets. I am a big fan of the clones than the later stormtroopers.
