Nice haul. Why did it take more than 2 months? Surface shipping?

Nice backpack! Are you gonna re-weather it yourself? The current weathering sort of make it a bit toy-like...
I ship bulky items by sea all the time, and I'm used to waiting months for them. My Code 3 X-Wing took over 6 months to arrive, but its worth it

yeah...I have No experience in shipping item...most of the time is through air, so for future transaction...have to bear that in mind.

By the way, does anyone know how many types of backpack are there?
Hey Bro,
To be honest, there were a few different Sandpacks, hard to tell exactly how many there were. Add to that the Special Edition Sandtroopers with the smaller Sandpacks...you have a lot of choices to choose from!

The 2 most common ones were the ones used and seen by Davin Felth, the original sandtrooper.
Yours look like one of the original few that was put together adhoc for the movie. Nice though...Thanks for sharing.
Stay safe,
Tim.

Yes, you are right indeed there are a few of these. Well, consider myself lucky to out bid another trooper who was also bidding for it.
Just to share a bit...according to the seller apparently this backpack was used in the making of the movie A New Hope and subsequently was casted to a few and mine happen to be one of the few...
So that the whole oredeal of the backpack...

Man, I would never have figured that there were a few different packs for the Sandie. At most, I thought there would be like 2 versions.

Apart from what I have attached, there are also many color variances...it seems that during the making of ANH...the props used at the scene comparing original and re-edited was not consistence...

Maybe for the Sandie, and this is only my guess, the backpack was a bit like a modular system. Each trooper could assemble his pack from a set of parts. Kinda like the modern load bearing vest system where you can change configuration depending on your role in the squad.
