Biker Scout Prop

Post by Paul K » Sun Nov 12, 2006 9:46 pm

I took these in 1988 while I was working in the US. I was going up to Napa valley and passed the Sonoma County Civic Auditorium and to my surprise, ILM had a mini exhibition there. It was to thank the residents as Skywalker ranch is in that county. This was before Magic and Myth when props were all encased in plastic.

I did not scan all the negatives (before the digital revolution in photography) but I do have pictures of the Star Destroyer, Tentativ, Falcon, Yoda muppet. The only nice thing is that unlike Magic and the Myth, some of the props were only roped off without glass covers (like the biker scout) so that it helped cut down on the glass reflecting the flash.
