Need help on ARC trooper's props

Hi all,
My desire to convert to the dark side is almost fulfilled. With Donleow's help to negotiate with the 501st member seller, my ARC armor is on the way. Currently it has only reached vPOST in CA, and it will take at least another 7 days to reach. The armor is complete and ready to wear, but not sure if it will suit me and any trimming required.

Here was the ebay post...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

There are another 4 things that I would like to add on...
a. The 3 ammo pouches that are hanging on the Shoulder Pad,
Image
Anyone know where I can get a ready made one? It looks like the ones that Sandtroopers have. How are they attached to the shoulder pad?

b. Another Leather Holster for my other blaster.
Image Pic from eBay.
I may try the Beach road stall that Desmond recommended if I can't get a ready made one

c. A BFG that is standard issue for all clone troopers
Image Pic from eBay

or the rifle that looks like the Clone wars non-animated figure.

Is there a Fiberglass- or Wood-craft shop that could make this?

d. A grey Kama/ Skirt with bigger pockets and blue trimming.

I think I will go to my mother for help on this. :) The belts are more tricky.

Please make any recommendations/ suggestions that you may have on the 4 things.

Thanks in advance...

Now that I see the 2 big holes, I am actually worrying about the armor water proofing when I have to troop in the rain...

I have seen all the fantastic blasters, rifles and BFGs that some of you have self-made. This has set me thinking of trying out myself though I am poor in art and craft. I have seen a SWAT toy that may be able to customise into a ARC rifle. ......

Anyone have suggestions especially on BFG/Rifle?

I got mine from this seller and the quality is excellent...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8796590860

Try to contact him to ask if he has anymore to sell...

As for weapons, get the closest match you can find from toy guns sold locally for the butt and grip... Thereafter, source for PVC pipe(s) of the correct diameter... Other fixtures can be from everyday household items... Or drop by Sungei Road to see if the flea market sellers have any used items that might work...

Hey Don,
Thanks for the kind offering on the holster and for negotiating with the armor seller. I have bid and won d holster from eBay over the weekends. But if the seller is to back out, I may have to come back to you again. :D

I have to wait for 5 weeks for the Shoulder Ammo pouch that GetzJ recommended. The seller has run out of it but is into a small production.

... And the armor is still flying towards the little Red dot. :D

You wanna make a good ARC is a bit chiem leh.

First of all, get a good helmet, and attach a good boba/jango pathfinder.

The Pauldron and kama that differentiates from the rest of regular clones

The pauldron is similar to Sandtrooper but is not, but the pouch should be similar.

The Kama is similar to snowtrooper but again it's not, need to redesign...use leather i think.

There are a few variations of ARCS, which one are you? :)

Thanks all Bros,...

Faie, actually the above pic that posted by Overload is the armor I bought. I guess it is trying to look like the Hasbro Clone Wars figure(Non-animated version). Currently, the figure is being repacked into the Hunt for Grievous Battlepack.

Are the various versions you mentioned refer to ..
the Animated Clone Wars TV series
Image,

Dark Horse Comics
Image

and the Hasbro Clone Wars (Non-animated) figure
Image? I guess the Comic and the toy versions looks also similar except the pockets. Any other versions you know of? Do post more pics to compare and contrast.

Most likely I would cross them depending what are available and capable of customizing.

So the 4 items that I have listed on my first page are what I wish to add on or modify. So far I have managed to locate the Holsters (x2). The rifle/ BFG will be the most challenging one for me.

Here are a couple of fan-made armor pics
Image... from clonetroopers.net

Can't locate where I got this pic. Pls help to provide the link if u have come across to honor the costumers.

So what versions do you think they are?

... The parcels have actually touched my door this morning but no one's at home so... another 2 days of agony.

of the photo of trio...actually the one on the left looks good. In my opinion the with the skirt/kama...the Arc looks more impressive. I will definitely have a kama on, if im wearing an Arc suit.
=)
