DC-15S Carbine
DC-15S Carbine
Hey all,
Just wanted to post some pics up and a little update on what's coming out from the workshop. So without further adieu, I present, the DC-15S Carbine!
This lightweight resin/fiberglassed cast comes from a three piece, warped, unalinged and missing stock, resin cast. The original was put together, reworked, reshaped and sanded down.
The stock was scratchbuilt by hand, with measurements taken off the Visual Dictionary and sized up to fit the DC-15S. it's made from 2mm acrylic sheeting, wood, snap buttons, magnets, styrene sheets and pvc tubing. The stock arm curve was created using a heat gun and IRONCLAD [tm] gloves.
Enjoy!
Stay safe,
Tim.

Good job Tim!
I'd sure like to see if my vintage sterling stock would fit on your DC-15S Carbine...
Many thanks for the good word. As for the sterling stock [nice acquistion btw ] working with the DC-15S, i don't think it will. Partly due to the swivel arm design on the FRONT of the trigger guard and the fact that the sterling stock was built for a pistol grip REAR installation.
That said, if proper modifications and jury rigging were to be done, it might happen. Of course not forgetting that the DC-15S is alot longer than the standard E-11, so the arm might be disproportionate to the overall look.
Anyhow, thanks for looking!
Stay safe,
Tim.
