Hey Stan, no worries. Pls don't waste ur pocket money to get speakers for me & Ken if u don't have enough. I've mistaken in ur previous reply, I tot u say u can buy speakers for all of us. So sorry bro.

You go ahead & get urs & Tyrone first. Me & Ken will settle ours on our own. Maybe you can help us by telling us which shop & which speaker to get after ur trip, yah.

The shop selling the speakers is at Sim Lim Square on the 2nd floor. The shop is called Sin Lee. Its near the central lifts. Cost is between $55-70. The better models have an extra AUX port that you can also plug in an MP3 player at the same time as your microphone. When you approach them, mention 'portable P.A. system' - that's the proper term for it.
What that AUX port allows is for you to play background music or soundFX files, while still allowing you to speak through the mic.

Just went out and bought all the 2.5-3.5mm adapters from the store I got mine from.
$1.90 each. I bought the last 5 the store had. I hope they bring in some more.

Did not open these up to test but they're exactly the same one I'm using and mine is fine. Also just came across a store in Bukit Timah Plaza that sells 2.5-3.5mm adapters. The shop guy says they should work for stereo AND mono. He says I can bring my set down to test next time...so I shall do that and perhaps we might find an alternative adapter. This one's more ex though, about $3+ I think. I'll update later this week after I return to test.

Mine are in stored in my thermal det. usually. Since the cap cracked earlier on during the mini chingay in 2010. The FX thermal det. is big enough for a handphone and a small pouch usually.

Or u can use a neck pouch. The problem is that the neck pouch is often inaccessible and storing in the thermal det gets u worried that someone might just steal it from behind u.

If u snap down the t d. It prevents ppl from taking it but ur belongings become accessible.

One way is to put a pouch on ur tk belt. However u can't do this in canon events as when among a dozen other tks who don't have the pouch, u will be easily noticed as the odd one out.

Like Stan said, store it in the changing room or get a minder to keep it for u. :D :D
