Hi Khstriker,

I'm a newbie to the legion too. I'm turning 36 this yr so I guess I'm a Gen Y & the guys at the legion told me I'm also not too old to join them. Infact most of them who I'm told are around my age as well.

I have already ordered my armor suit with the fully assembled helmet. Ordered my boots frm TK boots as well. My next step would be the neckseal, gloves and the other accessories. I think we might be attending the same armor party if our progress is the same.

I'm serving my last reservist at the moment thou so u might be faster. Nevertheless, hope you can find most of the stuff with ease. i might have to ask you for tips even.

Due to the FX helmet which cannot meet the requirement of the Legion,

I have thus ordered a VT helmet.
Estimated arrival 3-4 weeks.

Another waiting queue on top of the neck seal delivery.

Actually, this is what the CRLs say for the FX helmet:
"Note: While the FX helmet is considered to be deprecated (to be avoided) it is acceptable for Legion acceptance."

Which means we can still approve you before yr VT helmet arrives. Ultimately, there are plans to remove FX helmets altogether for approval. But for now, we can still tolerate it.

While the armor has been successfully assembled (90%) with all the helps from Keith, stanlow, skyguy and belugas17.

Next, spray paint my blaster to make it more real.

Must go homefix to get primer and black paint.

The blaster e-conversion kit later since the last I checked - sold out.

Very essential items for assembling the armor.

Velcro Industrial White and Black (5 feetx3cm wide) - Get from HomeFix

Goop Glue

Cloth tape white - 1 roll should be enough

Black Elastic -Fat 1.2cm-1.5cm wide; thin 0.7" wide get 4m - get from Daiso

White Plastic Sheet - 02 pcs - get from Art Friend

A Cutter to cut the plastic sheet,
a pencil and long ruler and some masking tape
and you are almost ready.

Of course you must have the armor suit.

hi khstriker! o yes soprry i forgot to tell you! pls do get a helmet bag.. u can get them from motorcycle shops. in the meantime u can use the bag to keep keith's helmet in it so that its protected!
