We make our own costume and armour. it's a skill we learn from researching and experience over time.

You never mention which specific costume or armor you're interested in.

Stormtrooper armor costs about SGD1.4k, unless you can get a 2nd hand suit. The better ones come in kit form so you need to trim and assemble them yourself.

As I mentioned, the armour and costume are made by ourselves or tailored locally. The price is to cover the material cost and shipping.

mz, do u by any chance still schooling? Costuming is a expensive hobby yes so it might be tough for a student.

Don't lose hope my friend. 8) We have a member who managed to get his TK costume up while still studying his first year in JC. Just be committed at saving up and you'll be there in no time.

We have had a few 17 year old members that join us for events and help out while they save money to get their first suit for armor. Try to save up and don't lose hope. The armor kit costs USD$700 shipped to Singapore. Aim for that first and you'll at least cover the helmet and armor in that first purchase. It won't take long to save up further for the dive-suit, boots, blaster, holster, neckseal, etc.

Some items are harder to source for, eg. WW2 East German Jack Boots, so I would advise you to acquire items that you need piece by piece, unless they can all be acquired from the same source.

Fyi, I will be moving this thread to The Academy in a few days.
