Hey guys,
What do you guys use for primer? For the life of me I've been looking around DIY shops and can't seem to locate any in the spray section. I'm looking to primer my repcom helmet and am looking for for something to ensure the actual layer of paint will stick.

Yo bro,
You can find primers at hobby shops. Mr hobby versions like 1000, 2000 and Metal Primer series, which are excellent for kits and filling in of small crevaces. But be warned, these are rather small in cannisters and cost around 4 to 5 dollars.
If you are using it for helmets, the best choice is metal primer which bonds to anything even metals.

I'd highly recommend this. Most hardware shops in neighbourhood markets would stock this.

My neighbourhood shop have the normal primer spray. Think $4-4.50 each can... I use that for my stuff. Grey in color. There are also the other red color one... but grey is the best.
