A big thanks to both of you being so helpful :P Yup thats the one I saw. The diving one I didn't really like when I tried it on, too thick and clumsy.

Reading thru the thread, it seem that DIVESHOP @ SG is recommended. I am not too sure about this. So I just go into the shop 'Uncle, I want a lycra suit, plain black, my size' then he'll know what to get me? Must it be plain black. Will there be like chest logo that I should avoid or what? Anything I need to look out for?

Umm that's pretty much what I did. Except it was a lady there, told her I would like to buy the "Aeroskin Lycra" bodysuit. You'll probably fit L or XL..

Anyway, those 2 sizes are really popular. So they're probably out of stock again.. You might wanna start bothering them now so you can have your divesuit by the time your armor arrives..

It'll have to be plain black..no logos whatsoever where the armor does not cover..

Anyway, that's the only Aeroskin lycra suit they have..

don't need to worry about the rest. the necessity is the gloves, dive suit and blaster and boots which are easy to get. the rest we can provide if available. 8)

for the dive suit just say to the store manager, i want to get a divesuit to join the 501st. they will know. cos i think only 501st members buy that.

I guess he's is referring that the stormtrooper outfits are all identical and there's so many of them haha :P Perhaps after sometime as a TK, maybe can repaint it as a stormtrooper commander from force unleashed

Anyone can point me to where I can find a good neck seal? =X thx in advance!

Actually there were still alot of clones left during the reign of the stormtrooper. If you read the novels you'll see that the 501st have nearly a full compliment of orginal clones. Also alot of the combat trainers that the academy were retired clone troopers.

Yes, Dr34m is in my hands now...heheh. I shall see to his training and finally donning the armor thats the pride of the Empire! ;)

Wow , so fast can get TK number? Ok, suit ordered, glove getting today, E-11 from awwee, holster from iceman, next up should be the dive suit. I'm just gonna stall the boots and see any second hand available or maybe a local source. Don't really like the time needed for international postage haha.

Velcro is well explained in the thread so I guess I know what to get. However, I'm not really sure what kind of black elastic are we talking about. Is it those around 1cm in thickness? Another question is regarding the buckles.

"Make sure they are just wide enough for the thin Velcro and elastic to go through"

So this is for the white velcro (1.5cm thickness)? The black (3cm) velcro doesn't have to go through it right?

i dun think there are such "thick" elastic n velcros sold in the commercial mkt... i think u meant the width of the velcro and elastic bands right?

i got my elastic bands from chinatown, people's park complex lvl2. they go by imperial measurements (vr apt) ie in inches. 1"abt2.5cm, 2"abt5cm etc...
