Thanks! yes I noticed that the photos of guys in the suit look like really solid armour while the pics of the uncut suit looks "lighter". Maybe its the lighting effect.
Anyway, i'll be happy if it is rigid enough not to dent when poked or bumped against. Does the VT also come with the additional bits that can convert it to a Sandtrooper?

too bad I can't make it today for the armour party. thanks for the invite though!
will try to make it next time.
:D

It definitely won't bend when poked, whacked or hit - its quite solid and tough. The plastic is about 1-2mm thick depending on how much it was stretched when formed over the mould during the build process.

Yes, it comes with both TK and TD parts so you can convert it to a TD at a later stage or start as a TD even. :)

Forget CA boots. Last time CA is the (only) main source of Stormtrooper boots, now we have a new better and cheaper choice. :D

3. Gloves: The most accurate pair of gloves to wear are black Nomex Flight gloves. You can easily get a pair of replicas from the Beach Rd Army surplus market for $18-$20 -
That's an affordable gloves, do you have another kind of gloves aside from that?

Actually i understand now from a bunch of new troopers that its really hard and near impossible to get the black nomex gloves from Beach Road. Next option is eBay. Thats where I got mine from.

black nomex-type gloves update:

As of today, only found one stall at Beach Rd army market that has them. Address as follows:

Chang Fatt
#02-196 Beach Rd Hawker Center
S199583

Price is $18 per pair. Free size.

Hey,

Can anyone advise on the best source for a TK/TD suit/helmet?

I've been on whitearmor.net and it's all rather confusing with the various options etc

HELP!
