Vacuum forming ? I am learning it in my Dnt Lesson and can only use thermo plastic.

Haha....yeah.. except for the fact that getting a personal vacu-form machine is the tricky part...

You don't have the DK Star Wars visual dictionary?

Redblur, the folks here can tell you're passionate about costuming but your current direction appears to be 'rearing a cow in your room just to have a glass of milk'. It's nice to own a personal vacu-forming machine and all but at this point, it's just unrealistic. Heed the advice given before, save up for a good set of armor.

My exact sentiments, except for the cows and milk thingy..

Solving the vac-form problem won't be the last you'll face. Making your own armor is harder than getting one... and you'll need quite a number of unwieldy machines to help you make one... lest you have a factory or workshop already, then i see lotsa problems down the road..

[if you really have a factory, rent it out and use the money to buy your armor..its still easier.]

Unless you got money to burn  stay away from the Rubies Armor. Movie Accurate? Of course not as it's an Official item.

Official items MUST be made different, in minor or major ways in order to differ it from the original movie props.

Master Replica is an Authorized Company that used to produce several SW stuffs; they're most famous for FX Lightsabre and Lightsabre Hilt.

A search online will give to at least a website, popular or known to many of us that explained how to go about making certain SW Armors with some of the pages even giving the dimensions of the parts.

I think by the time you got your armor, fixed it up and got it ready to troop in, you'll be 18.... anyway, experience does counts...good to help out in the local garrison first...
