Phase II clone trooper armor. (EP3 clone)

Post by Sev-like » Wed Jul 02, 2008 8:10 pm

Hey guys, I was wondering if there are anyone with a clone trooper armor lurking around in here? I need to somethings bout it...specifically the armor pieces...

Do i get them separately or are they modified from the phase 1 armor?

Does anyone sell them?

Er..how bout the undersuit/bodysuit (which ever is the correct term)? Cotton overalls or wetsuit?

We have a few Clone Troopers around here, both 501st Members and not (or rather still got 1 year plus to go :P )

As for the Undersuit, it's the same as the Stormtrooper one which is a Lycra Bodysuit. Some might also be using the Wetsuit meant for diving.

Jumpsuit is only meant for Pilots, Scouts, Drivers and Crewmans. ;)

You could PM 'paphious' (aka Commander Bly at STCC) for info. :)

Well, to my knowledge, for local sources, you got 2 choices for Lycra Bodysuit:
- Get a set tailored at Dance Shop like Sonata (#03-05 Orchard Plaza)
- Get from Diving Gear Shop

Btw, I think the shops at Concourse had moved out some time ago? :? I thot I saw the place almost emptied when my Coach to KL went pass it last May.

There is a Diving Gear shop at Golden Landmark.

As for putting the Armor parts on, well, each Troopers will do it differently depending on their body but it's usually using a system of Velcros, Straps, Snaps/Press Studs, Duct Tape etc etc.

Most of the stormtroopers use a tropical dive suit (lycra) and those run about $110, depending on the size you get.

For clone troopers, the under armour has a ribbed pattern to it which is different from stormtroopers. However, it is difficult to find something like that which is light.

Ah..so that means most ribbed undersuits are heavy..are the ribbed undersuits part of the requirement for a clone trooper to join the 501st? I think so, though hope not....anway...how heavy are these? does it mean they are thick too?
