Awee- Hey bro don't mind me busybody but I just realised all the stormies/sandies have the same neckseal (if they are still wearing those) I would be happy to rush one out just for you before you leave for Taiwan. Its the least I can do to feel small part of the team.

I say your circumference is 17" or 18"? Let me know.

I am good at 16.5". And I won't be needing the extra cloths attached with it to be tucked into the armour cos my inner wear is already turtle necked. Thanks!

Copy that. It will be the same like mine without the skiritng, except you might need to lay some bit of velcro say 1-2 inch at the front collar of your undersuit (imagine a church pastor collar) to ensure the neckseal stay intact over the collar so no chance of opening up to expose the neck. You can do this better when I pass you the neckseal tomorrow.

MG34 is the one of the kind.
Thanks for the compliment bro! And I'm so happy and relieved I finally nailed this piece of crab (POC)!

The maker is called Cushman although seriously I wouldnt recommend anybody this POC! I bought this because I needed a BFG to gain deployment status from MEPD, the most hardcore standard given by any unit so far. I dont have any pic to show you yet but I must warn you the POC originally did not come looking anywhere close to what you saw. If you like, you can also buy this POC fully painted and assembled by Cushman and it is not expensive. For me I'm anal about detailing so I always buy my stuff in kit form but ended up trapped in my own anality! And for me to modify (or rather rebuild) the POC took me 1 year of weekends burnt that I could have built a dozen armour suits or a hundred holsters or a thousand neckseals! Sounds ironical I went to buy this POC yet telling people dont do it no? You can get tons of review at mepd or go ask some of our BFG veterans here that it is indeed POC.

Unlike this Cushman POC is Hyperfirm who is on the other end of the scale because it is a exact cast of the real weapon so you get a detailed replica so realistic this stuff will send you straight to prison.

Anyhow, I got good words from the 2 armour gods (thanks Reno, Tim) so I think this POC will get to stay and serve until one day someone sneak in with a real MG34 and get it casted for everybody.

Bro Yen,

Like you said until one day someone sneak in with a real MG34.

That will be the day my friend.

I'll be looking for that.

I'll try to do it from scrap build and c what come out.

Thanks for letting me hold & feel your COOLER MG34...

I've done alot of research of the MG34 and i know what I have salvaged from the Cushman POC is still far from basic decent accuracy. I can testify there is not much more can be squeezed out of the POC after trying out all methods I know of. I can say what you saw should be the best cosmetic job done on a Cushman. Base on effort and time, I will not attempt on another Cushman but rather to scratch-build one, which will definitely be faster, less frustrating and best of all, very accurate (depending how anal you are). I think they still keep the MG drawings in MEPD if you need. Good luck and hope to see your work soon!

Yen,

Said yesterday and I'll say it again, you did an awesome job on reworking that Cushman POC. I'll be honest and say that at first glance, I thought you had a resin 34. Sweet job bro!

Stay safe,

Tim.
