my two-cents worth of knowledge...
Vacuum-formed parts usually have thin-walls, thus causing it to tear. the machine u mentioned can form 1mm to 2mm (max) thickness. else, the dimension of the part will run off.
the one mosske mentioned can prob formed up to 4mm or 5mm. but having said tat, it depends on the material used too.
common material used are, polystyrene(PS), polypropylene(PP), PET, polyethelyene(PE), n prob polyvinylchloride(PVC). each has adv n disadv.
okok i'll stop here if not it'll look like Abstract for some Engineering thesis.. =D
