Suggestions for ANH 30th Anniversary Celebration

Fellas, I am not sure who is taking the lead here although I get the impression the person is GetzJedi. Pardon me if I am wrong.

After listening to various decisions, there is a need to form an organising group, make decisions, see who can do what, plan a timetable, make the contacts, organise the activities then proceed.

how abt getting a movie theather (cathay??) spondered partly by them for the event? we can sell tickets for the entrance to cover the following:

1. Movie Bites (popcorn, drinks, hotdogs, nachos....a selection)
2. Costumed Contigent
3. SW Trivia
4. Phototaking
5. Movie screening
6. Prize giving for Trivia
7. More Photo taking

But of course, it would be great to get spondered location....we can 'sell' merchandise, like SW sg T-shirts, Toys and such...to cr8 the hype...

Seriously, we had a meeting yesterday between the core members of the forum and let me assure everyone that we are taking everyone's suggestions into consideration... But keep your expectations from going too high cos we are a non-profit fan group and we can't give this cause 100% of our time...

Well, aim for the Stars and if you fail, there is still the moon!

Of course, Moon here means a Backup Plan.

Anyway, Libraries will be good places to have roadshows but must go for those that are more "hip" like Jurong East as some are a bit too quiet or small; AMK one seems quiet and not much activities when I go there.

CC may not be a good location unless done during their event like MP Visit or Family Day or Civil Defense Day etc etc. Or have the Marathon Screening there.

As for the D&D, anyone can help provide some figures if done at major locations or even Country Club/Some Club? Like Suntec or Pasir Ris Downtown East since we want to probably involve the public too.

I kind of meant that we're 'volunteering' Getzjedi, not implying lhs1701 arrowing anyone. Actually, it is time we set things in motion, so it's good that lhs1701 brought it up.
