Hi everyone ,
We've got good news ! We are getting together with our friends from
www.startrek.com.sg and
www.moviemania.com.sg to co-organise the First Singapore SciFi Bowling Competition !
DETAILS
Date: 18 March 2006 (Sat)
Time: 2.00 pm
Venue: Civil Service Club (Bukit Batok) Clubhouse
Nearest MRT: Bukit Batok MRT

There will be prizes to be won , and it will be a great day of fun for everyone, so even if you've never bowled before, do sign up for this joint SciFi event .

Should be ok in the air cond environment for costumers.
I suppose we can make the event unforgettable for the Civil Service Club.
Also we must make it a rule that NO USE OF THE FORCE IS ALLOWED.

Like that where got fun ? I say, we allow the use of the Force ! Maybe our Trekkie fans can be allowed to use their phasers to blast the pins apart. I don't know what the movie maniacs are going to use .... hehehe

Are you sure you have block tests that day ?
It's a Saturday.... sure hope you can join us...
Anyway, is there anyone here interested in signing up ? There will be quite a lot of prizes being given out, including for best costume, best bowling individual , best bowling team , and etc. More details once confirmed .
If you want to join in the gathering, you can come either as Cheerleader or as Bowler . Cheerleaders come for free, but if you come to bowl , you just need to pay on your own for the number of games you bowl, which is about $2 for 10 games or something really cheap like that ( check out the fees at the link I gave previously ) plus you have to rent your own shoes.
Hey do take the opportunity to join this historic gathering.... our first Star Wars / Star Trek / Movie Maniacs gathering .

How about the rest of you ? Come on, everyone, the wonderful trekkies have already come up with a group of 7-8 , from what I've heard.
So , let's make this a really GREAT event, and get to know our fellow SciFi fans from the other 2 websites.
I'll start the ball ( pun intended
) rolling....
