Good news for everyone regarding STGCC 2010......

IT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR!

The news :

Reed Acquires Singapore Show
Covering Toys, Games, & Comics

Reed Exhibitions, the worldâ€™s leading organizer of trade and consumer events, has announced the acquisition of the Singapore Toy, Games, & Comic Convention (STGCC). The Singapore show, which was launched in 2008 by PI Events, is a good fit for Reed, which has an existing office in Singapore. Reed's team of pop culture professionals who helped fashion the companyâ€™s flagship New York Comic Con and the upcoming (this weekend) Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) will work with the Reedâ€™s Singapore bureau and PI Events to create the preeminent pop culture event for the burgeoning Southeast Asian Market.

The most recent STGCC took place in August of 2009. The next STGCC will take place from December 10-12, 2010 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Aiyah! Kettling is only on a Saturday right and maybe for that weekend only, we can try cutting down the location to a few nearby like City Hall, Orchard Road, and maybe 1-2 timeslots only.

Our garrison should be big enough to cover 2 events on the same day. The more dedicated troopers can choose to kettling on Saturday and participate in STGCC on Sunday.

Very close to AFA2010.

I think AFA2010 will happen before STGCC2010...

Btw, AFA10 is probably 20th and 21st November if they follows previous years trend, aka first 2 days of EOY School holiday.
