GV says its most probably going to be NC16. So those underaged better hold back until rating is advised.

Some of our members of the 501st Legion trooped at a special screening last night. And don't worry if you missed them, the troopers will be there on 18th March too! :)

Overall, it truly is Fanboys.... a show for us fan-geeks :P
If you're a fan of Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes), you will want to catch this movie too! :)

The cameos, references to the Star Wars movies, side jokes in the dialogue... are fun to catch and they hit you like "Hey I know that guy", "That's the scene where...", "Yes, that was a line from Episode...". But while all these are great entertainment for us, they might get lost on regular movie-goers who do not really know much about Star Wars .

The movie could probably have done with less crude stuff though, to make it suitable for general viewing. A couple of butts flashed... sexual references with simulated actions... getting high on drugs... some middle fingers... Be mentally prepared guys and gals, it seems quite likely to get tagged NC-16, and that would unfortunately prevent some of our younger fans from catching the movie at the cinema.

Did I mention Kristen Bell is in the movie? :P If you like Kristen Bell and you like Leia's brave act in Return Of The Jedi, then Fanboys is your dream come true! And I don't mean Leia's brave act of saving Han, strangling Jabba or leading the Rebel Alliance in defeating the Empire.... simply her daring wardrobe as Jabba's dancing slave girl

I hope it doesn't become M18 or my ticket would go to waste.
I finally managed to convince a friend of mine who doesn't like star wars to go for the movie with me. :)

(A New Hope) Ben : I felt a great disturbance in the Force...as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
The rating has been confirmed.
Rating & Consumer Advise: NC16 SEXUAL HUMOUR

Sorry for the under-16s...
