This is Dave -- Last time I caught up with you was at last year's Christmas party!
Anyhow, this year is the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars (yayyy!)
and we've just organised a Marathon screening of Star Wars in June !!
* Private screening room with 25 sofa seats only
* Mega panoramic screen (approx 5 by 3 meters)
* Professional Cinematic Surround sound system
* Right in the heart of Coruscant near Bugis MRT
Two Saturdays from 10am to 6pm
16 June -- Prequels Ep1-3
23 June -- Classic Trilogy Ep4-6

Abou the venue-- Pitchblack -- screening room + bar
For those of you who have not been to PitchBlack yet, it's a great dedicated film screening venue in Haji Lane with a cool cafe bar downstairs...

Not as a slick as a Coruscant bar, but not as grungy as a Mos Eisley Cantina either. I also should mention that we can feel free to make this venue as a 30th Anniversary PARTY on 23rd -- have food and drinks downstairs and have fun activities eg Star War trivia pursuit, anything.
Would be absolutely fantastic occasion and fun to have people come in their costumes and take photos etc We can do this after the screening at 5:30 pm onwards .
* We'll be playing the Cantina band music and star wars soundtrack in the bar

Update -- New promo deal SW film marathon in 2 weeks !
An update with some great news, fellow fans !
I've entered into some "aggressive negotiations with a lightsaber"
with the venue owners and got us a new deal !
Each Saturday screening cost 25 Republic credits.
....NOW you can watch it for 18 Republic credits.
That's a 28% discount -- fab entertainment @ $2.50 per hour.
(might as well go along with the Great Singapore Star Wars Sale, ya?).
Need to book before Sat, in order to confirm the event.
