Blood Wars Sign-Up for Helpers

In appreciation of the blood donations received during the event, every blood donor will receive a free photo taken together with Star Wars and Star Trek characters who will be present throughout the event.

We need at least 2 Star Wars characters available at all times for photo-taking. There will be 3 overlapping shifts for costumers, but costumers are welcome to stay beyond their shifts. Imperials, Rebels, Jedi, Aliens.... All Star Wars characters welcome

We willl also need 2 persons to man the Registration desk, update the "Live" tally scoreboard with the number of donations received, and be in charge of photo-printing. There will be 2 shifts for this.

Some questions:

1) Where will the costumers be stationed?

2) Does the donor take the photo with costumers before the procedure, during the procedure or after the procedure? How long does the procedure take per person average?

3) Can someone elaborate on the mechanics/scoring system for Star Wars vs Star Trek? If a donor walks in, totally unaware of the starwars vs startrek 'friendly match' and remains undecided, is 'touting' allowed?

Everyone will be indoors in an air-conditioned environment.

After registering, they can have the photo taken before they proceed to blood donation area, and we will print the photo while they are donating blood. Alternatively, they can have the photo taken after the donation, and we will print the photo while they are resting.

We will count the number of pledges received.

All walk-in donors will be invited to pledge their donation for either Star Trek or Star Wars, if they wish to participate in our event and receive the Free photo printout. But it is ok if they prefer not to participate, as the main winner at the end of the day will still be the Bloodbank.
