Year-end Gathering 2006

1) In 2005, the Star Wars saga was finally complete with EPIII bridging the original trilogy and the prequels. At the same time, our sg_starwars mailing list was reborn with the launch of our very own Starwars.sg website and forum.
2) The same year, we had much joy bringing you live reports from the heart of the Art of Star Wars (AOSW) exhibition amidst the Gala Premiere and Official opening. And we were there with you throughout the run of the exhibition, right until the crating of AOSW in April 2006.
3) Keeping the Star Wars flame burning, we have been bringing you the Starwars.sg Roadshows at CSC where many new friends have joined us, and existing members have gotten to know each other better. And not to forget, we now have our very own Starwars.sg T-shirt.
4) As 2006 draws to a close, we look forward to 2007, which is a huge year for Star Wars - the 30th Anniversary of the first Star Wars movie "A New Hope".
5) To celebrate our journey thus far, and as we look forward to many more great things to come, we welcome all of you to join us for a year-end gathering - A New Hope for the New Year. The programme line-up will include mass-participation games and quiz, a costuming contest for the kids, and of course... a chance to get to know each other better during the buffet dinner.

6) In order to better coordinate the event (and ensure we cater sufficient food for everyone!), we will need you to register and make payment before the event.
7) To register, email to party2006@starwars.sg before Friday 22 December, with the Subject Title "Party 2006", and provide your details in the following format:

8) When we receive your registration email, we will then reply to let you know the POSB savings account to transfer the payment to.
