Starwars.sg T-shirt and you

Post by dranoel » Wed Aug 23, 2006 10:08 pm

Last Sunday, we distributed the Starwars.sg T-shirt at our roadshow in China Square Central. A big "Thank you" to all of you for coming by to collect your T-shirts, and thus also making it the event where the most Starwars.sg members were present (at some point in time :P )

If you have started wearing the T-shirt to various work events, family gatherings, outings with friends... we welcome you to share your photos here :)

besides, the shirt also bring me another feeling for the Brotherhood of Nod. It's like killing two birds with a stone.
Black & red colour scheme...heh heh heh! Not only it's very Star Wars, it's also Nod's colour scheme, it's also my fav colour scheme as well! My the force be with you! In the name of Kane! Muahahhaha

There was a car show in the open area near McDonald's at Parkway Centre on Saturday (26 Aug 2006)... and the Toyota and Honda salesgirls were wearing the same T-shirt sans StarWars.SG logo and cool slogan on the back.

I was wearing the StarWars.SG T-shirt that day, and I was on my way to Parkway Parade to do some essential shopping, so I had to pass by the car show... I was pretty amused, but at the same time, I was hoping I didn't get mistaken for one of the salesgirls... LOL! :P

I must say that the design we've had has been quickly become very popular. I've seen ABC Stout use it too, although in a very small batch run.

I also worn the T-Shirt to the Science Centre Referee Briefing and Training last Mon and Wed, and to COMEX last Fri. ;)

Ya, at COMEX, I think I saw one of those PC Company also having their worker wearing similar T-Shirt but with their company local on the Sleeves only if I remember correctly.

If I recognised it correctly, I think the white version of the t-shirt is being used by SingTel staff.

Yep, I believe you are right. Noticed that at the Singtel outlet at Junction 8....

And here's a suggestion: wear the black version to a Swatch shop

By the way, it's heartening to hear and see that those of you with the T-shirts are enjoying wearing it. I saw Jedichard wearing it at CSC today, and then back in Bishan I bumped into chip211 and his dad in our T-shirt as well. My brother and sis-in-law were also decked in the Starwars.sg T-shirt today when they went out shopping.

This is interesting. How did they actually manage to get the white version. I thought only the black one was made available?

I guess all those companies, ourselves included, went to the same t-shirt company so it's no surprises that there are clones!

Sharp eyes, Dranoel!

I'm digging our black and red SW t-shirt big time!
The size is terrific (thanks for the size recommendation) and the dri-tech fabric is a lifesaver (especially on muggy, hazy days).

Gonna wear it at CSC again this Sunday!
