Does the plastic layer really stop FXes from breaking? Oh and one of the SEJA's suit looks exactly like Jedi Slayer's one minus the lcloak.

And as for Pen Caps... I shall remain a sith with a huge armada to spply my needs so I don't need charcoal pills or concentrated food.... hahaha.

the plastic layer prevents the FX from being scratched due to clashes with another FX. if hit too hard, will eventually break

and it is slayer's costume. was being loaned to one of us. ie Faiz

Wah.... not bad... I still can recognize it (J_Ss costume) . Haha.

And I think I'll rather fight with Hasbros.

fight with hasbros can really whack. and still get scratches.

my cousin and i used to do that all the time.
but FX seems more "real"

wrong, hasbros blades will bend out of shape. not very nice during middle of fights..

anyway the plastic kelps we used to protect the saber, were the same type of plastic you mum use to wrap your textbooks in in pri sch.

and although it does not prevent breakages, it will help prevent scratches, add some shock absorbent to the blades, and of coz make the saber more balanced, as the fx is severely weighted more towards the hilt, which although makes it easier to hold, but practically unrealistic and unhelpful. by adding the plastic, it helps counter the unrealistic balance. i wish we had more time to wrap more layers, it was still to blade-light to me..

Want real, want whackability, make your own EL saber using high-density polycarbonate tube with a PSI (Pressure/Square Inch) of 40,000 :D

that's how lightsabers supposed to be. blade supposed to have no weight since its a blade of light

correct, but then i wouldn't have really liked it since i'm so used to training with realistically balanced equipment haha.

No wait a minute, Sith use lightsabers too...
All that is gold does not glitter

I've started a NEW THREAD to explain this so as not to veer this thread off topic.
