hard to say.. coz sometimes its too random for anyone to be able to predict even masters. of coz at the same time it does has its bad points as there would be many openings
pros: hard for others to predict you if he keeps pressing the opponent
cons: too many openings for Masters to be able to exploit

the thing is... the masters always exploits the openings and finish him off first.

for eg, i remember back then, during a competition, some guy from the sam batch of students in kendo won the junior category, thing is, he was one of those guys who couldn't swing properly and always had unnecessary awkward movements.. think qui gon jin(to me he was never a gd swordsman). i don't wanna sound arrogant, but by all accounts i should have won instead, lol, coz in my batch i was the most promising student..
but i got knocked out in the first round, but onli because i didn't attend training and practice for 3mths, and joined the competition all of a sudden.. i still feel the loss and always imagined how things would have turned out of i had the discipline, diligence and make the extra effort to actually attend trainings.. and won the junior category instead.. sigh..
that loss taught me that anything can happen, and that the age old proverb, practice makes perfect, is actually true..

we still go practice there was we took these few weekends as a break due to the IMF/WB thingy going on in the area. it'll prolly be filled with cops, soldiers, or worst, ghurkas. i don't wanna take the risk and get us into trouble just coz we're practising.
well our next session should be this sat, but nothing's confirmed yet. pls pm me for further details.

Yeah that's probably for the best. These security people are very strict. But oh well, in out in out, X-rays, metal detectors, I don't even bat an eyelid anymore.
And yeah there are Ghurkas. Cool hats. LOL
