Chingay was a BLAST, you guys!!! I really had a lot of fun... it was hectic, but FUN! :D

Nice to see all the familiar faces again... esp people like Ash who I haven't seen since The Cathay opening way back when?!??

And of course, nice to meet all the new people who have recently joined us in the world of Star Wars costuming... it's a lifestyle, folks! 8)

While I'm not sure when I'm gonna be in costume again, I'm not entirely sure I've given it up 100%... it's kind of a hard habit to break, and very addictive once you get started.

Gosh, can't imagine that I've been involved with Star Wars groups in Singapore ever since 2002... that's 6 years already... time sure flies... and look at just how far we've come since the early days... Chingay 2008 is surely one of the MAJOR MILESTONES for Star Wars costumers in Singapore... and even though I was just a minder for this event, the feeling was still TREMENDOUS!!!

I'm so happy that I could be there to share Chingay 2008 with all of you! :D

Here's to more of such events to come!

The only problem with making t-shirts is the minimum qty. If we're talking about something affordable in the $15 to $20 per t-shirt range, we probably need at least 50 pcs to 60 pcs.

I agree. :(

BUT I am with Don Leow on the patches idea. :D

As for videos, I'm compiling them now. I've got about an hour's worth of vid shot on the 16th by Redwitch. Not sure about how David's is coming along - his was shot on 15th.

Ice very good ideas! Maybe first lets focus on next month's event i feel like we will have a bigger role since this is a smaller event no?

Slow down bro, it's great seeing you all excited like this but reality check, FUNDING/COSTS and LFL LICENSING are things we need to address before doing anything. Great ideas though. ;)

I agree with Yen, lets worry about what's directly upcoming first.

Like hidden easter eggs in the movies... look beyond the distracting performances during the opening ceremony and you will actually spot us in quite a number of shots
Just in case anyone is interested in playing spot-the-trooper..... there will be a repeat telecast this Sunday 24 Feb at 3pm on Channel 8.

But I recommend checking out all the wonderful photos and videos we have instead :D
Hak Beng's photos will be posted sooooooon

That's right... slow down man.. there's talk about getting the two bikes in the contingent (mine and Sebastian's) converted into speederbikes.

Ya, thank you to Hakbeng for taking the "official" photos for us.

Btw, are we gonna have a softcopy of the photos taken during our Chingay Practice, Chingay Preview and Chingay too in a CD? I can contribute those from my camera if needed (thanks to Jean for taking them for me :D )
