hi all trooping fellows of St Pat's Day
Some basic trooping manner and behavior to observed during the event ( as mentioned by GPR Tim- delta squad leader on saturday )and I will take this opportunity to remind everyone again out of courtesy on this:
1. Never take off your gear like helmet or robe for adjustment in the public or during marching event unless physical error happen on your armour , find a corner or inform your minders ( only behind scene or when the whole contingent standown)
2. Never openly smoke / drink liquor in the public in your armour/dress code (if needs arises go to one corner or dress down to do so)
3. Never utter vague language like the word F*** in the public ( COG will deal with it seriously)
4. Never raise your voice across in the event to your mates or team only when situation does not permit you to communicate effectively with them.( best way walk up to them and talk
)
5. If adjustment is needed inform your minders ( do not adjust your crouch / or scratch them in front of the public - is gross
)
6.At all time, you should obey your squad IC and await for their command and instruction, never override them in terms of their appointment they are in
7. If you or any troopers faint, troopers in respectively squad will form a circle facing out around the fallen troopers and the respective minders will come in to attent to it. Do not make a big huh hah out of it when troopers fall ( important have water parade the nite before
).
last but not least enjoy this event as this is probably the largest and most complete trooping event that bring every starwars fan in and I am proud to be trooping with all of you and see u on sunday.

And watch out for the SEJA performance featuring a member recently back from Taiwan!(temp only, going back on Monday)

The reason we are circling around the fainted person is because we don't want the reporter or photographer to see it. But if in the event if someone does collapse... We shld know how to react to situation. Alright.

Circling around a fallen comrade wont prevent any photographers from taking pictures of it but preparedness will do such as knowing the sypmtoms of Heat Stroke before it hits you such as
headache
dizziness
disorientation, agitation or confusion
sluggishness or fatigue
seizure
hot, dry skin that is flushed but not sweaty
a high body temperature
loss of consciousness
rapid heart beat
hallucinations
So Costumers and Minders have to communicate with each other if any of the symptoms arise and bringing the Fallen to the side of the road is Ok to me if it saves him/her.

wow such rigid thoughts lol ....iexecise with normal reaction...if your friend is hurt and collapse,and if there are a couple of u will crowd around him / her right to see if she is okie.mandalorianBleahhh wrote:donleow wrote: hmm... i cant really agree with this thou....wont forming a crowd arnd the fainted poor guy take away more of the cooling air and oxygen required?
Since our visibility is not there and hearing have issue, just to block any busybodies out for a while if minders are not at sight
then again don; act hero, if u don; feel well alert ur buddy or us. this is meant to be a fun trooping event not some guard of honor parade.
