Why locals don't celebrate such events? Sigh.

Because it is unique to America and meant for Christians...

Errr, no, it's not meant for Christmas. Historicaly, t's a day that the pilgrims who came to the new land gave thanks and the family gathers around. A bit like CNY where all the family comes together. However, it is a traditional US holiday and that's perhaps one of the reasons why we don't celebrate that holiday.

Not really we could celebrate all kinds of festival here only without the Public Holidays and Thanksgiving I thought its a must to have a Turkey at the table which is a task to rear here only Chicken and Ducks are available in Asian Country. No pun intended though. 8) 8)

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

Sorry for the late message -_-

I wonder if we could make one of the days on the calendar a Happy StarWars Giving Day ...

Like y'know .. celebrate the day the first Star Wars movie was directed and released ..

Not for the public .. But for us Star Wars Fans y'know .. and then we could all meet .. go to a coffeeshop or a fancy restaurant .. and just enjoy our selves ...

Hmm .. Did n't know that .. Yeah we could just go for the Year End Party ..
We could make a budget for the party I guess .. Y'know .. or ... we could go to that Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix Movie at vivocity orrrr ... go to a shopping centre and watch it ... Ticket's sponsored by starwars.com.sg hehe . Or . We could sponsor like $2-5? And the rest is payed by starwars.com.sg? Or we could buy our own tickets .
