Not a Good Labour Day for me, had to visit 2 hospital KK & NUH to visit relatives very tiring for the whole Family, came back late last night,

Huh? I'm in the frontlines... No such thing as Public Holidays for me... Weekends & weekdays are no diff either...

Should be the eastern sites... I was at the Aljunied rally on 28 and Pasir Ris rally yesterday...

the company i worked for did declared the following monday to be holiday in replacement for the voting day...not a bad deal afterall

According to the Constitution, Election Day is deemed as a Public Holiday.

So if your company policy is such that any public holiday falls on Sat/Sun will give u one extra day-off, then Election Day is no different from any other public holiday such as X'mas or CNY.
