Mandalorian Jango

Jango Fett was a Mandalorian warrior, adopted after his parents were killed. However, he was one of the sole survivors...it was said that the Jedi destroyed his race...When did that happen and why???

It's frm the comic Jango Fett: Open Seasons. The Jedi Council was duped by the splinter group - Death Watch into believing that the Mandalorians are responsible for a murder. This splinter group was under the leadership of Viszla (who happens to be the one responsible for Jango's parents' deaths). So Master Dooku and a group of Jedi Knights were dispatched to the planet Galidraan for 'aggressive negotiations'. A battle then ensues, leaving half of the Jedi dead & Jango as the sole Mandalorian survivor. The results of this event only serves to further erode Dooku's faith in the Jedi Order.
