I just wish we could have the SW Costumes Exhibition; the one that was at FIDM some time in 2005/2006. :? Someone wanted and planned to bring it to Malaysia but sadly she had disappeared.

Hmmm, I hope LFL will bring in another exhibition this year in conjunction with the F1 race. Definitely make money, LOL!

Since I am a late comer here. Has there been any huge gatherings of fans from around this region on a single spot, to form some kind of fan exhibition?

Too bad, SW Celebration won't come anywhere near here. Man, I would love to go.

Yub yub commander! Every time we discuss about it at her booth during the exhibition, I was drooling off my rear and planning to even try to work there. Just imagine, a REAL Family-Orientated SW Exhibition and live apperances of Clone Troopers every day apart from seeing majoprity, if not all of the costumes from all 6 movies and even have the chance to feel the replica of certain popular Amidala Gowns.

But I guess some things in RL kinda caught up with her. Even the last news I heard of her was that she wasn't that well any more. :(

Well, The Philippines have a Sci-Fic and Fantasy Convention every year but it's still small compared to US ones and covers several titles from Movies, Books, Games and TV Series.

Malaysia have minor ones once or a few times a year, nowadays mostly at Cineleisure Damansara since a member have a Cafe/Club House there.

Other than that, not heard of any big fan gatherings or convention.

Maybe not as Big as SW Celebration, we do have Big Events such as the St Patricks Day which requires our own Costumers and from others as well to combine and makes 1 whole platoon of SW which could match with other SW events other than the Rose Parade that is, now that is 1 hell of a day which I hope we are invited again next year.

It will be nice if there is one here. To have something going on and not just shake hands with passbys when one is in full suit.

Maybe an international costume/model/arts contest or something to make the event one that is really something to look forward to. I am not organiser but just a thought.

Whichever ways, I hope there will be one in the near future. I am darn proud of you locals when I saw the photos here of you guys in fantastic trooper suits and helmets worn on few occassion in town.

I just read Ray Parks was in Malaysia recently too, darn! Darth Maul himself was there for martial art training. So near, yet so far!

Heehee.....will have to see who will get selected next if that happen again. Think I probably unlikely to be ever get selected as too short for a trooper.
