WOOOW!! You managed to get a clear shot of Grevious as well as the WOOKIE, the production paintings you took came out clearer than mine.

Well done mate, will definetely feature you in my ART OF STARWARS DVD that I will send to Lucasfilm France and Steven Sansweet.

I will burn a Cd of all the photos I took actually for you on Saturday.

Cheers

Dave

Thanks y'all. Glad y'all like the pics. Was really a hassle as I was not allowed to use the tripod to eliminate the shakes, so I had to rest the tripod on my hip, thighs and feet. tripods not allowed to touch the floor as it'll create marks on the nice carpet.

:(

Thanks Dan, for your kind praises.

The skill was part imparted by the masterwifey a.k.a. Jedi-photog. I've to show some genius otherwise I'll be critique to death. Such is the patience that Jedis have to put up with.

Without Flash
No tripod
Poor lighting

I started asking myself what can be done to take a better picture.

a) Maybe SSC could provide better lighting especially at the bottom of models. Yep we like to see whats down there as well. For example, the MF, you couldnt see whats underneath even standing next to it.

b) And also stop the moving lights on the Star Destroyer. Perhaps just plain white light, instead of those blue ever shifting lights. Again, no lights from underneath.

c) Placements of models

The most beautiful part of the Star Destroyer also include the engines behind. Unfortunately these cannot be seen as the wall is in the way altogether.

The glass houses are already protecting the X-Wing, Y-Wing and MF. I dont understand why the arrangement is different from the Jedi-Starfighter, whereby we could see it up close. These 3 models you have to stand like 4 feet away in the dimly lighted hall.

Would someone from SSC address these little requests which would make a whole world of difference to many of us who love these models so much and planning to go back to see them over and over again?

Milo, those are really excellent suggestions .

We have actually been talking to Singapore Science Centre about possibly improving the display of certain props .

I can promise you that over the next few weeks, you will see some improvement in some of the display , and I will forward your feedback to them immediately after this .

Let's hope they do the right thing and pay attention to our feedback.

Thanks .... if you have more suggestions, please post them as soon as possible as they may be starting work very soon on correcting some of the displays .
