Ok, here's the confirmed VIP information.

President S R Nathan will be Guest of Honour and will official open the exhibition .

Lucasfilm will send two representatives, namely Laela French (Collections Manager) and Tabitha Teresa Totah (Licensing Unit Personnel) .

This is not only for security reasons with the President, Ministers or VIPs there but there is limited space in the Annex Area as it's isn't that big in reality. Those Guests and VIP really could use some space to move around to have a look at the exhibits, interact with others etc etc.

There might also be the contract reason as legally, the exhibition is only open on 19th Nov, NOT 18th Nov. Some may say, "Why not open at Midnight like other countries musuems" but with the limited no. of people working there; especially in the Exhibition Hall itself, the people there won't survive having to work 12am to 6pm on Sat 19th Nov, and the SSC isn't the best place to hang out at past Midnight unless in large crowd.

So just gear up for Nov 19th if you're kiasu to see the exhibition! I think someone is keen to have something special that day; "By the Fan, For the Fan".

Yeah for the Star Wars Fan.....

Hi Mates, I wanted to come earlier for the opening but can't make it my contract finishes on the 23rd of November only. I am taking care of exam copies but I lucky I don't get to mark any of em. (Lucky I escaped that!!)

So Leela French came straight from America to supervise the exhibition?
Or is she the Lucasfilm representative that works at the Singapore Lucasfilm that opened recently?
