The first book, I have seen it in Singapore and had been debating whether to buy or not. I had compared the price with Amazon (inclusive of P&P) and found the price in Singapore much higher.
You mention before going to Kinokuniya of Bugis Junction, the shop that sells this is a comic shop just behind or side or whatever, but very near this Kinokuniya.
I have not seen the second one.

Find, fix, finish
I went with MySciFiFan fans last Tue 13 Dec 2005 at Borders, and Plo-Strax Avix just bought the book above. It's a very thick & heavy book, come with a CD-ROM. I think he paid for S$70, which is cheaper than Amazon selling at US$39.90 excluding shipment (which is expected to be expensive b'cos of the weight).
Unfortunately this is the last copy at Borders.

By the way, Borders and Amazon are business partners ... see www.borders.com
My prefer purchase method is:
1. Goto amazon.com to browse/search for the book you want.
2. Take down the ISBN no. of the book.
3. Goto Borders at Orchard, and place your order at the info counter by giving them the ISBN no. No deposit needed.
4. Wait for 1-2 weeks, u can collect your items from Borders cashier counter.
I have ordered many books via Borders, and the benefits are:
(1) it's cheaper ... b'cos Border's shipment come in bulk from US.
(2) u don't have to reveal your credit card no.
(3) no need to worry about exchange rate fluctuation charged by your credit card company.
(4) collect at your own convenience anytime u passby Borders, instead of waiting desparately at home for courier delivery. Worse, if u are not at home, u need to to go to courier warehouse for collection.
(5) The BEST is ... if you decide not to buy it subsequently for whatever reason, Borders won't force you to pay for it, Borders will just label a price tag and sell it on the shelves.

Cool Dr Emh, thanks for the advice. Which part of Orchard is Borders actually? And what's inside the book besides the CD-ROM? Just text or it contains pictures as well?
Cheers.

Hi David, its not so much a 'book', but more like a photo novel. Thick as this thing is, I wish they had made one of this book for each movie instead of combining all 6 movies into one book.
Its filled with screen cap photos of all 6 movies, including(but not limited to) scenes never made it into the movies, background production shots, sets during various stages of construction, location shots and lots lots more. I have only so far glanced through it but some of the more interesting things I've spotted include a partial blueprint of the Millennium Falcon, and the production set for the deleted scene where Grievous killed Shak Ti, and the set which saw Anakin & Obi Wan escaped into the ship's fuel tank by cutting a hole in the floor with their lightsaber.
I consider it an extremely lucky find and a very very good deal, especially considering it is not, and wil probably never be available in any Malaysian stores...
I just return home couple of days ago and to my dismay found out that my house is STILL under renovation. Will try totake some pics with my camera and post them when I have settled down. The structure of the book make it quite difficult to scan with a flat bed scanner.
