Latest News about the Star Wars Exhibition in Singapore
Hey guys,
I am actually part of the team involved in doing the publicity for the exhibition and together with my art director, we are very heartened by the comments on the upcoming artwork.
I would like to confirm that the publicity at the Marina Carnival is NOT the final artwork and is used as an interim as well (not sure who did it actually).
So please cross all your fingers that LucasFilm will approve on what we done, because it's definitely going to be better than the Japanese artwork!

Welcome to the board, axcot , and good work on the print media campaign that will be launched as soon as Lucasfilm approves it. I've seen your concept art and proofs , and I'll say I am really impressed by the artwork .... it's as good as, if not better, than any other Star Wars print campaign that I have seen all these years.
Congratulations on the fantastic work , thanks for joining us here at this forum, and we look forward to seeing the campaign being launched soon !

Daniel, told ya sw.sg needs more publicity
Since Lifestyle or is it Life! is always writing about this and that, why dun we ask em to make an article on this website, ur life size stormtrooper and art of star wars and etc etc etc? it is about time since the exhibition is in about 2 mths time

Can't Wait for the event
That is something worth waiting for. Time to save up for my 5 megapixel camera for the exhibition.

May the Force Live Long & Prosper ...
I like your post, Dr EMH, I went through exactly the same emotions that you did ! LOL
I have spoken to Singapore Science Centre on several occasions about this and the official word as of now still is :
No photography will be allowed, and this restriction comes from Lucasfilm itself, not Singapore Science Centre .
Let's keep our fingers crossed.... you never know , things may change

I don't think Lucasfilm will change their mind. They are afraid of people taking photos and later use this to create something else, that is, leveraging on their creativity.danchia wrote:I like your post, Dr EMH, I went through exactly the same emotions that you did ! LOL
