e3lipse, you can check out the prices of Code 3 stuff from Simply Toys's blog. Not cheap though. A few hundred dollars. Here's the link.

$500 is nothing. My Sauron statue which I paid S$450, is worth about S$600+ now. My Ringwraith on Steed statue which I bought at S$550 is worth about S$1000 now. The problem is not the price but the size. Why pay so much for something so small? To me its not justifiable unless you're a hardcore collector.

both are characters from Lord of the Rings. The Sauron statue which was delivered to me last week is 2 feet or 24 inches in height and weigh about 15kgs.

The Ringwraith sitting on its steed is about 12-14 inches in height and weigh abt 7-8kgs. I've not removed the Sauron statue from the box as its too big to fit my customised glass display. Will probably custom make an acrylic display case for it before removing it for display. :)

ringwraith on steed is the one in black. the one next to it is gothmog on warg. :)

Simply Toys is NOT a scalper shop, they are the OFFICIAL distributor of quite a number of replicas and models .

I find their price are pretty steep for certain items, such as SW Gentle Giant busts.

Either order it from a specialist toy shop(most expansive), from an online retailer(less expansive), wait for someone to sell it off cheap on ebay(even less expensive), or wait for Walmart, K-mart, Target or other big stores to sell them at clearance price like WalMart did with the Code 3 MF recently(rock bottom prices!)

All depends how long I can hold back the desire to buy it :P

** man! how dare you say Simply Toys is a scalper shop. they are the official distributor for quite a number of products in Singapore. I dare you to find a shop selling Code 3 products cheaper than them. If you do find one, I advise you to look at the base. It probably states 'Made In Timbuktu'.
