Post by Valentin » Sat Aug 04, 2012 12:42 am

Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace - Trade Federation MTT™ (Multi Troop Transport)
UPC/EAN/ISBN: 653569742234
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Release Date: Aug 2012
R.R.Price: USD$129.99, SGD$249.90
Trade Federation MTT™ (Multi Troop Transport)
Battle Droids deploy into combat from a Trade Federation Multi Troop Transport (MTT) vehicle. The heavy repulsorlife craft lands on the battlefield like a menacing jungle predator. The forward hatch opens and releases a rack filled with Battle Droids. The Droids deploy into action as the MTT's weapons open fire. At the Battle of Naboo, MTTs delivered wave after wave of Battle Droids to face the Gungan Army on the grassy plains near the capital city.

It's been a while since a Hasbro vehicle actually awaken my geeky side, tearing me from real life issues, and back into the galaxy far far away...

It's the MTT. No doubt being under-scaled as usual, but still a very welcome sight to most starwars fans worldwide. Without further ado, let us advance the droid army!

Opening it up:

Surprised, I was, to see that mine was distributed by Hasbro Australia. (I got mine from Metro, our local departmental store)

The non-articulated droids:

The articulated parts are the joints at the hip and the left shoulder.

The articulated droids:

These... to my horrors... only 5 points of articulation... shoulders, hips and neck.

The young obi-wan:

And finally... the 6 views of the MTT:

And last but not least, the troop deployment racks:

For me, with the recent rehash of vehicles but with different packaging, it was the dark ages for me. Until the arrival of this MTT. It is quite a neat vehicle with the numerous detailing on it. Perhaps with more time... I could probably do a more in-depth review. For now, thank you for reading.

It comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi Padawan? Any idea is it a new figure or a repack from early release?

Bro, should be a repack. Figure is quite atrocious by current standards.

Just opened mine. The dispatch of droids is a cool feature I would said. But why the standing pose? Not that they are giving us fully articulated Battle Droids. With only two points of articulation. Why don't they just give us the crouching fix pose Battle Droids as in the movie instead? :x And another side note, these Battle Droids have no backpacks. :x
