The laser tower is a rehash of the previous tower from an earlier ultimate battlepack series. The turret rotates, and the detailing is as good as ever.

Let's look at the figures next...

There's 2 rebel hoth troopers and a K-3PO... excellent articulation all around. And there's more...

With these number of accessories, am nearly speechless. An excellent figure to troop build on.

The medium repeating blaster:

A rehash as well, from the legacy collection. Still it's a good addition to this battlepack.

Without further ado... The best for last...

In SG terms... this is seriously an overpriced battlepack. Yet, once one would to open it up, the items inside are hard to find and are going for ridiculous prices on the secondary market.

This is one battlepack which I would seriously consider getting at least 3 or more, were I doing up the battle of Hoth scene. The figures in it are great for troop building and also comes with plenty of accessories. If fact, the new re-tooled laser cannon is what really make it all worthwhile in this set. With it's detailing and correct scale.

To end off, here's the entire set all gathered...

Thanks for reading.

Nice Review. Seems a little expensive for what you get.
I love star wars. However the set I want the most is the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Anne's Revenge. So fresh.
