Piloting a snowspeeder, Luke leads Rogue Squadron in an assault on Imperial forces that have landed on Hoth. Equipped with laser cannons and a tow cable, snowspeeders are T-47 airspeeders that have been modified to withstand the ice planet's brutal climate. The huge Imperial AT-AT walkers can't be brought down with cannon fire, so Luke tells his group to tangle the cable around the walker's legs - a tactic that successfully brings down one of the behemoths.

Feature:
• Opening canopy
• Interchangeable harpoon-firing launcher and non-firing harpoon gun!
• Interchangeable missile-firing launcher and non-firing cannons!
• Retractable landing skid!
• Opening air brakes
• Double cockpit holds 2 figures

The Incom T-47 airspeeder, heavily modified. And this is probably one of the better version of the snowspeeder that caters to both kids and collectors alike. For kids, it's features oversized firing missile cannons and harpoon guns. For collectors, the static but more realistic versions instead.

The interior of the cockpit,

The control/instrument panels are mainly stickers, and it does take a while to apply them. The neat thing is that there's even a slot to hold the harpoon gun from the SAGA Legends Luke figure.

The top air brakes,

It would be really cool if the bottom air brakes work too, instead of being just a sculpted detail.

The landing skid,

Unlike the cloud car, the landing gear sits flush with the surface when retracted.

Part 2

Forgot to take the pics with the harpoon gun,

There's the slot to keep it in the cockpit.

Here's the shots with the play features attached.

The harpoon,

The thread isn't as long enough to wrap 2~3 times around the legs of the B.AT-AT. Though as a normal play feature, the length is just nice without getting easily tangled.

All in all, this is definitely one of my more favorite vehicle released this year, since the last snowspeeder I had was the POTJ version with the diorama setting of the crashed speeder and luke half in the cockpit. And well, this is definitely 1 swoosh-able vehicle.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks bro. Now my urge is even stronger to get a snowspeeder. This one has been missing at dept stores. Hopefully to see it in places like OG which has 20% sale(last day 2ml).

@ Godmaster: You're welcome. If you are really must have it at the discounted price, do check out one of the member's junkyard threads. It's a good deal.

@ Awwee: Thank you. I love the "realism" in 1/18 scaled starwars vehicles, especially those that have alot of details. With regards to the suggestion, maybe I will bring it up to them, the next time I see them. 8)

@ Gordonator: There could be some other unknown factors which led to the main page not being updated often. I am still appreciative of having my reviews in the forums where fans and collectors alike can discussed about the toys.

Finally bought the snowspeeder with a 20% discount at BHG Bugis recently. Agree with Valentin that this is a swoosh-able vehicle that can add a high degree of realism to your re-enactment of the Hoth battle scene. Once again, another FANtastic review by Valentin. :D

Danny, my advise is to wait for the issue of the Red markings snowspeeders. Red markings are for the other Rouges. Only Luke's speeder is in Grey marking.

Lol... noted on that. Actually forgot about that fine point.
