"Begun the Clone War has!" - Jedi Master Yoda
On the remote planet Geonosis, the growing conflict between the Republic and its foes explodes into all-out war. The Republic's Jedi Knights lead a massive Clone Army into battles on hundreds of planets. The Separatists, led by the powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, fight back with their own formidable droid armies. As this terrible conflict rips across the galaxy, Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi are swept into the turmoil of war and the rising shadow of the dark side.

Geonosian Starfighterâ„¢
A lean, needle-nosed fighter-craft with a distinct alien heritage, the starfighters of the Geonosians are small, compact vessels of great speed and superior agility. A single Geonosian pilot sits within the cramped cockpit and peers out of a bubble canopy that allows a 360-degree field of vision. Cradled within the forward needles of the ship is a turret-mounted laser cannon. During the Clone Wars, the fighters were modified to increase their firepower, by adding two proton torpedoes in the side launchers.

• Opening canopy with cockpit that can hold Geonosian™ Pilot figure.
• Central cannon fires missile!
• Two-stage, spring-open launchers fire missiles!
• Includes exclusive Geonosian™ Pilot with life support mask!
In season 2 of the animated clone wars series, we see most of such geonosian starfighters, and yet with the current merchandise, not even a single geonosian vehicle? Hmm... Food for thought, ain't it?

This vehicle was introduced back in 2003 under the clone wars theme for a very short period of time, after the waves of AOTC theme merchandises. Without further ado, here's the packaging shots.

Here's the instruction leaflet...

And the booklet containing 3 short yet very exciting stories.

It's also a catalogue too.

Let's check out the Geonosian pilot,

Similar to all Geonosian figures thus far, it can't stand properly at all.
And it beside it's starfighter,

The starfighter itself is very sleek...

There's minimal weathering on it, and the paint work is good.

In attack mode, or when it reveals it's hidden proton torpedo launchers,

Makes it even more dangerous, or at least a foe not to be taken lightly...

The cockpit detailing is quite good.

With the Geonosian in it...

In conclusion, this is one vehicle which I actually won't mind if it got repack. Though the geonosian figure really could use more work on its stability.

Here's a few more shots before I end of...

Thanks for reading.

Nice post, I had kind of forgotten about this vehicle. And yes, the pack in figure is a little bit suspect. That's a problem Hasbro has had for years though - figures included with vehicles generally are substandard and kind cheap (exception I can think of would be the Falcon from last year, the chewie and han figures were top notch).
