Clone troopers arrive on Genosis in Republic gunships. They swoop down to support the Jedi in the Geonosis arena who are under attack by Geonosian warriers and battle droids. Troopers in armored spheres operate the bubble-turret cannons that extend from the troop cabins, spraying the enemy with laser fire, in this opening salvo of the Clone Wars.

Hmm... back in 2002, we had this much sought-after figure, which most purchase in pairs.

This year, we have this battlepack, which almost every gunship owner would want 2 packs per gunship owned. And it's "extremely" hard to find any in the shops.

One side note is that I find it extremely difficult to put the pilot nicely into the pod. The opening is quite small, so those with big hands, like me, had difficulty seating the pilot nicely. The position of the pedals for the foot is wrongly positioned. I figures legs are too long and cannot position on the pedals while sitting on the seat.
