The Republic's Clone Turbo Tank is bristling with weapons and covered with thick armor. This ten-wheel titan plows through every obstacle in its path. Clone troopers take aim from laser turrets and missile ports as this heavy assault behemoth crushes anything under its massive wheels. A true mobile fortress, the Clone Turbo Tank can deploy a company of troopers and a full recon speeder team, and also serve as an armored command bunker for extended ground sieges.
Features:
• Electronic lights shine steadily or flash when alarm sounds!
• Cannon pods fire three missiles!
• Gunner's station rotates 360degrees
• Rotating crow's nest pulls up and fits a figure.
• Weapons storage rack
• Vehicle holds up to 20 figures
• Launch speeder bike from rear of vehicle
• Remove rear section for separate bunker
Hasbro has indeed release this behemoth early. And it's big. Check out the packaging comparison to ROTS gunship.

Valentin, the title says "Quick Look" in front, but "PC intensive" at the back. abit contradicting right? :lol:
anyways, it is not a quick look, it is more like a detailed look. :wink:

Impressive, not just the CTT, the pictorial review itself is impressive.
Your pictures make me excited as if I'm the one who's actually opening the toy.

Just 1 question, how does it actually LAUNCH the speeder bike??

Zirst posted this link from the other turbo tank thread.

There show how the being launch. With the door open, shoot out with sound..
Think its 1/2 to 3/4 time of the film.

{Part 3 - Finale}

Having seen the interior, how does it differ from the actual fictional workings? Check it out... [Click the thumbnail for the full image.]

The barc speeder is located within the CTT's hanger.

Depressing a switch, launches the barc speeder.

A comparison

Of course, before I move on, let's not forget the hanger.

And yes, that's the end of the review... or is it?
As you may know I did a lego CTT review some time ago, and it's still here.

It's pretty hard to choose if you were to ask me which do I prefer, the 1/18 scale version or the lego version... Oh well, let's let the photos do the talking.

Here's scan of the booklet which informs about the phrases and lights for each switch.

And to end off, a few more shots...

Image
"STAPS!?!"

Image
"Base, do you read?"

Image
"Let's start her rolling!"

Image
{Lights on, Missile prep.}

Image
"Here we go!"

Image
{Straight ON!}

And of course, this is what I would call ARMOUR!!

Thanks for reading.

@masteryoyo: Glad that you enjoy it. Thank you.

@Frodo,Naruto,Weirdo: You are right. I normally use pictorial reviews when I have the time to really air my views about a toy. Though in this case, I guess, with the insane number of pics, pictorial review, it would be. :D

@trooperJ: Have included that portion on the speeder bike in part 3 of the review.

@snipe: Not necessary so. Only switches 3 & 4 activates the light depending on the duration of press too, whether short or long. Have included a much higher res scan of the booklet which states what each switch activates.

The Hasbro Turbo Tank is so small compared to the drawing. Nice review. :wink:

It's "only" $180 before discount :) ! Much cheaper than the ARC 170 that I bought :( . Personally I feel that it's worth every moolah although I haven't got it yet :) ! It's big, it's bad, and it makes a great conversational piece :lol: !
