Droid starfighters, also known as vulture droids, are sent out in huge numbers to overwhelm Republic forces. They are capable of skillful maneuvers in aerial and space battles, and are armed with blaster cannons and torpedos. On land, they position their wings into stilt-like legs for ground patrols.
• Pop-up droid head
• Firing projectiles!
• Flight attack mode
• Ground combat mode
IT'S THE Vulture Starfighter... Nooo... It's the Super Vulture Droid. Literally. The vulture droid has received an upgrade, and it's not just in scales, but also in features.

The scale of the droid starfighters in comparison, hasn't really been very accurate when place beside other starfighters since episode 1. Though, this time with the TCW version, Hasbro looks set to blow our minds away. And with that, LET IT RIP!

There's not much at all in terms of assembly required, apart from attaching on the 6 missiles. The set basically comes in the droid, 6 missiles, the instructional leaflet and the background insert. There's no twisties to be concern with, only the rubber bands and twisted paper to release the droid.

A closer look at the leaflet.

Here, the background insert depicts a scene from the clone wars movie. I totally dig the graphic on the left which shows a crashed droid starfighter.

And without further ado, the 6 views of the droid in flight mode,

And of course, not forgetting the reason this is all about,

The scale!

"Hey you puny droid, roger me one more time and be carbonized..."

This is by far, my most favourite one of the vehicles released for TCW. Not just the scale, the details, articulation with tight joints and those 6 missiles which supposedly carries buzz droids, really buzz me up.

This is not a great vehicle, this is one of the greatest figure ever produce. And yes, I probably will be building an army of these should the opportunity arrives.

And to end off my rambling, a parting shot... {Yes, it's not very well taken nor accurate, but it should be familiar to those who watch the 2D version of clone wars}

Thanks for reading. :)

Thanks for sharing :)
It IS HUGE! Didn't expect it would have filled out the dimensions of the box.

@Dranoel & trooperJ: No problemo, and you're welcome.

@jenki: It depends... are Sentinels strictly atmospheric flyers? or they just use anti-grav units? To me, sentinels are more like anti-personnel weaponary, whereas vulture droids are anti-armour... and not forgetting those buzz droid missiles

I have checked that the new version of Vulture is too big. The old version is correct. Please see below.
