Yeah, amazing what some people can do. At a glance, I thought it was one of those MR falcons :)

May take a while for this review. Here's part 2 anyway.
{Part 2}
Here's the 4 views of the M.F.
Fore:

Port:

Aft:
Image
Starboard:
Image
And before I forgot, the topside,
Image

And I really love the cross-sections book from DK, here's the scan for the falcon.
Image
The BMF really follows the detailed workings as shown in the scanned image, but only up to a certain degree.
Image

Anyway, onward with the review.
Lowering the ramp, and you can spot the lights.
Image

First up, we have the med bay.
Image

And beside it, is the hold, or storage area.
Image
It's actually quite spacious inside.

The gunner station.
Image
Do note that the action feature that allows the quad lasers to shoot also sync the movement for both the quad laser to the gunner station.

As we continue down the walkway, pass the cockpit entrance...
Image
The secret compartments are here.
Image

Moving on, we reach the engineering station.
Image

In here, the main hold. there's also the area for playing with the dejarik gameboard.
Image
Light-up feature of the board.
Image

The area where luke trained with the probe.
Image

And that's where the access hatch is too.
Image

Next is the cockpit. And it's supposed to be able to fit 4 figure snugly.
Image

Check out the paneling details by the stickers.
Image

The seats.
Image
Image
The pilot and co-pilot seats are adjustable and swivel-able. Probably to accommodate to different figure sizes.

And here's the control panel close-up.

If you just so happen to have a lot of Vintage Yoda figures, and were wondering what the BMF would look like if it were to be filled with them... DarthPete from Rebelscum has provided the answer!

Millenium Falcon The Legacy Collection

I just bought the Millenium Falcon The Legacy Collection yesterday. :D

Very cool! I love it. All the interior and exterior details, and the lights, and the sounds. A giant Goliath compared to the titanium die-cast miniature version I own that sits prettily on top of my VCD player, doing not much else but reminding me of the original trilogy.

By the way, the pictures showcased by Valentin are very detailed and nice. As the maxim goes, 'a picture is worth a thousand words'. In this case though the actual product is worth a thousand pictures as I yesterday found out.

Boy, is it BIG! I had some ideas what it looks like from the pics but I did not expect it to be this colossal! It's true. Sure, the box itself seen from outside reflect the size but once the two mandibles are attached to the front of the spaceship, it is literally outsizing the bulky cardboard pack.

By the time I had finished unpackaging and assembling it, complete with detail stickers applied inside the interior, I am already sticky with sweat and my limbs are tired from the 'workout'. :D Too soon, it is near my bedtime as I bought it after work in the evening. This evening I am going to explore further the sounds.

I dunno. Yesterday came back home late from work so no chance to handle the Millenium Falcon at night.

But obviously more than the 29 Yodas that I counted in the Rebelscum thread pics. The only two figures included with the package are Han Solo and Chewbacca.
