Post by lewdini » Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:59 pm

In your opinion, what are the worst figures made by Hasbro

Heres my list
1. Saga 2002 Mace Windu (Geonosian Rescue)
2. POTF2 R5D4
3. POTF2 Royal Guard
4. Saga 2003 Luke Skywalker (Throne Room Duel)
5. Saga 2003 Mace Windu (Arena Confrontation)
6. Saga 2003 R2D2 (Droid Factory)
7. Jabba the Hutt w/ 2 Headed Announcer
8. ROTS No.11 Darth Vader
3 3/4 Completist!

Let me add to that list Mara Jade from the twin figure set with comic book release. :)

Seems like that a lot of terrible figures in the lists are figures with action features built in.

Yeah, other than the Mace Windu one, I hate those "squeeze legs" figures. Of course, that's targetted at kids..... :) Just don't like the arms of these figures... awkwardly posed and very often loose

There has got to be space in that top 10 for a couple of Han Solos. They were UGLY!

Now that you mention it... Add to the list, all the early "He-man" physique figures from POTF2!

to be honest there's alot out there. even my 1980s X-wing luke.. looked like some japanese anime character. hoth han solo is horrible, luke jedi knight big headed, etc etc too many to mention. dumb scout trooper on speederbikes can't even sit properly ahhaha
The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force

For me, it's probably the monkey faced Leia from POTF2, in fact all those He-Man era figures are equally bad.

Actually, I find the POTF Royal Guard not bad. Just that the guard had too much junk food and less excercise. :D I find the stance better than the Saga one. Actually, static cape is much better than cloth cape if it is sculpt nicely. Like the Koto Royal Guard, it had static cape.

All vintage figures are badly sculpt. Remember they are all done 30 years ago, imagine the technology back then. That is why I only collect one each. No more, no less.
