Republic Commando Scorch

Background info:
When the battle begins on Geonosis, clone trooper Scorch is ordered to engage the Separatist droid army. Scorch's Delta Number is Six-Two, but he is well known for his humourous mishaps. Although he is a competent soldier and an excellent explosive technician, 'Scorch' earned his nickname after an ordance accident that left him without eyebrows for a short time.

Earned Nickname : Accidentally torched his eyebrows
Skill : Explosives technician
Known as : Delta's Resident Wiseacre

Hologram Figure : Good guys

Accessories :

Image

Removable Ammo Pouch on right thigh
DC-17 Pistol
Removable Backpack

5/5

For a removable ammo pouch, that's a good move by hasbro though somewhat unnecessary.

Sculpt/Accuracy :

4/5

Spot on as in the game , perhaps the weathering should be done better.

Paint job :
Slight smudge at the back of the ammo pouch
Other than that , lines are crisp and excellent, accurate to game

5/5

The smudge is not noticeable when the pouch is attached to the figure

Articulation :
Ball jointed head
Swivel arms
Ball jointed elbow
Swivel Hands
Ball jointed hip/torso
Swivel legs
No knee joint
No ankle joint

No knee and ankle joint, that bothers me, lots of poses are limited due to that.

3.5/5

Price :

RRP $17.90

One thing that we all hate, the darned prices of star wars here, unlike bib fortuna, this is a must buy figure even if you are not a republic commando fan

4/5

Overall :

21.5/25

All we ask for is articulations at the ankle and knee!

My thoughts - waist up, it's really cool (as in really). the only downer are those legs which kinda limits it's poseability. backpack's a bit loose too. Overall it's must buy, so snap it if you see it! :D

Cool review, e3lipse. :D

Though, it might be better to include more pics in certain sections.
For example, a pic of only the accessories, in the accessories section.

But, it's a good review, concise and focused. 8)

Just a query, is the backpack articulated, or is it just a single piece?
