Hi guys a.k.a. SW fans!
There is a 20% discount for all purchases at Causeway Point Metro up until this Sunday. Yes, that's right! This includes all Star Wars merchandise, toys and collectibles.
A few days back, I bought three items from the third floor shopping mall. R2D2 with electronic light and sounds, General Grievous with his flowing cape and a Clone Trooper with guns; all for $17.90 each.
Total cost = $17.90 x 3 = $53.70
20% off total cost = $53.70 x (100 - 20/100)% = $42.96
So I was surprise when I had to pay only $42.96. Then I saw the Battle Of Hoth package collectible at $159 but after discount cost only $127.20. I tell you, I was very tempted to buy then and there...it is still haunting me still!
So if you guys are free, flock or fly down to Causeway Point Metro.......

It was reported that in some other local lego forums that the Starwars stuff were wiped out by 1 person this morning...
Anyway, it's up to 50% off retail for most of the stuff available. Am giving this a miss.
Coz... no more...
• Gunship
• Droids Battlepack
• B-wing
• Other great starwars stuff....

I was at the Lego Toys 'R Us sale this morning 10.40am (sale started at 10.30am) but didn't manage to get a single Star Wars item. But based on what I saw, it wasn't one single person who swiped all the Star Wars stuff, there were quite a number of people with stacks and stacks but there were also kids and mothers also holding on to one or 2 boxes. One lady had a stack of Star Wars boxed sets which reached up to her shoulder!
I only managed to land my hands on a "discarded" Indiana Jones boxed set going at 50%, count myself quite lucky already. The good deals were wiped out by all the early birds.
and I thought I would be one of them.

I may have missed a bit of detail.9 wrote:you sure? recently i saw the lego price was still nett for the clone war series...Zul wrote:A Few Days Ago, In A Shopping Mall Near, Near My House.....

Yesterday I went again to Causeway Point Metro, they did give a 20% discount but on items with blue tack. This means that price stickers with a sorta blue dot on them gets the discount.
But truly I check on SW vehicles and figures, including the lego ones, are the stickers with blue tacks.
Too bad yesterday was the last day for that discount.
I almost bought the Battle Of Hoth package with the turbo laser turret, a white AT-ST and some imperial troop figures; cost only $127 after 20% off. But then I went to Carrefour and Toys R Us at Suntec City and saw the Millenium Falcon, over 2 1/2 feet long, cost only $339. I think I will buy that instead. I cannot afford to buy both......
